Cry Freedom

I discovered this excellent video last night on YouTube.  Please make sure we share this in the community.  With all the madness going on in Washington it puts things back in perspective.  At least it did for me.  It reminded me that no matter how bad things appear to be, we must always be willing to take a stand and speak out against those who would steal our liberties from us.  We must be willing to walk that extra mile.  We must not lose our focus and stay the course.  We must elect virtuous people that hold as their core belief that the Constitution and the concept of limited government is an essential component in saving our Republic.

Liberty forever, freedom for ALL!

A great video. Freedom is not having to look over your shoulder to see if you offended someone, or crossed the line drawn by some repressive government. Freedom is to be free of man-made restraints that have no value and no redeeming purpose. Freedom is that right to live our lives as we see fit, not concerning ourselves with what other may think. All freedom is rare and fleeting and must be guarded for it can easily slip away.

    Well said Ron. Thanks.

America has long been the "Land of the Free", unfortunately over the last few decades, actually since after WWII, we have become the country of free handouts. One person can make a difference, focus and this new freedom movement will grow like wildfire. I believe it is starting, we've seen the smoke, now let's all fan the fire.

    Just one cowboy's opinion.

    Thanks for your comments Scott.

Yes over the years we have become to a certain degree a welfare state. The progressive FDR actually set the foundation with the "New Deal" and now many have become dependent on the government. Many have forgotten just how sacred liberty. We have become complacent, but not anymore. We must elect people whose core beliefs are woven in the fabric of our Constitution. If we just elect people because they are from the opposition party, we will gain nothing.

Great video. I would add that the New Deal with more than just a series of programs to assist people. They were a movement towards FDR's "second bill of rights."
