Klavan has done some excellent videos.
Nope, I'm thinking they are pocketing as much money as they can, planning on a nice retirement on a tropical island

I know this video is meant to be funny, but he highlights a very good point. The liberals insist on reminding us about the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy (they forget that the wealthy are the ones paying most of the taxes, but I digress) and they go on and on about how the GOP is all for the big banks of Wall Street. While doing so, they would like us to forget all about people like Dodd and Frank, who have had a hand in this fiasco from the beginning. That is about as bad a case of selective memory that I have ever seen.

This video puts things into sad perspective. Republicans have a huge problem getting there message out to the point that it seems falsehoods about them are being repeated. Then a public which is largely uniformed just hears the talking points on the network news and believes them. Can't wait for Nov.

I agree Trestin. They are looting the treasury and getting out of town.

You know Larry, it's all about a detour of the truth and smoke and mirrors. Without the MSM hammering this truth home, it doesn't get the attention is so justly deserves. Ands once again, the Democrats get a free pass.

Thanks for dropping by Anthony. If you tell a lie enough times it eventually becomes the truth. This is a tactic the Democrats have mastered. Republics should have fired back early at this lie, but because they didn't now it is harder to undo.

Great post John. It's a quick video, but it does cover the basics. The Democrats set this all up, and the Republicans lacked the will to stop it.

  • John Carey May 9, 2010 at 12:31 AM

Indeed Matt. Unfortunately, because they kept running the lie, most people now have bought into it. Basically this means that no matter what proof you have to show how this was caused by the Democrats/elected officals, the people will remain entrenched in their position. The Republicans for some idiotic reason decide not to call the Dems out when they started pushing this lie. They always seem to shoot themselves in their foot.
