Happy Mother’s Day Mom

Today is about my Mom.  I want everyone to know just how much I love her and how important she is to me.  My Mother is the beautiful young lady that is right of her Mother in the center.  The little guy standing on the left is my Uncle.

It would take a lifetime to tell you all about my Mother and the wonderful woman she is, so I’ll try to sum up my feelings with a few well placed words and keep it short but meaningful.  My Mother is a woman that is grounded in principles and unconditionally loves her family.  She has always been the light during our darkest hours and the joy during our triumphs.  She is one of the most charitable women I know.  She gives from her heart and asks nothing in return.  I’m the luckiest man in the world because I have been on the receiving end of her love for 42 years.  I would not be the man that I am if not for her and for that Mom I feel blessed.

These last few years have been tough without Dad.  He left us all way too early in life.  She has had to learn to pick of the pieces of her life and move forward in life.  She had to learn to live again without the part of her life that completed her.  It has been a difficult struggle at times, but she has managed.  I make it a point to try to call my Mom every day.  Some days we talk about everything under the sun, while other days we talk about a whole lot of nothing.  The point is whether we talk about everything or nothing, a son always needs his Mother.

Just hearing my Mom’s voice reassures me that no matter what life throws at me I have my Mother and everything will be fine.  Thank you Mom for everything you are and for everything you have been.  God has truly blessed me and for that I am always grateful.

Happy Mother’s Day mom, I love you to pieces.

Very beautiful words from a fine young man to his wonderful mother! I know them both and have been a part of their lives for almost 23 years! I'm sure your mom is proud and I know your Dad was too!

Great moms are truely a blessing and some don't realize that until they are gone. It wonderful that you don't fall into that group. Sorry I haven't been around much lately, but will by wife's illness I just haven't had the time or desire to visit much. Things are still very unsettled here, but I hope to visit all my friends out there more in time.
