Arianna Huffington: It’s called "Denial"

This past weekend on ABC’s This Week Arianna Huffington, of the Huffington Post locked horns with Liz Cheney over who was responsible for the oil disaster in the gulf.  You’ll never guys who she blamed…

Yes that’s right Bush-Cheney…oh yeah and that dark evil organization Halliburton.  George Will looked on in disbelief as another far left hack blamed Bush-Cheney.  You could almost read his mind; are you really going down this road Arianna or are you just this dumb?  Now personally I don’t have enough information to place blame on any one person or entity for this tragic event.  There needs to be an investigation that produces findings that can be substantiated.  The one thing I can say is that this administration’s response or lack of has been absolutely awful.  How can I say this?  Because like many of you, I can see an inefficient government being led by an administration that clearly lacks basic management skills and leadership traits.  And yet some on the left continue to play this game of shifting the focus off of the Obama administration’s lack of action to attacking the policies and regulations that have governed off shore drilling for quite some time now.

Now some of you might agree with the above assertion that this is indeed a desperate political maneuver to save a floundering President that is clearly sinking as fast as or faster than our AAA credit rating.  As for me I believe it’s a classic case of denial.
The psychological definition of Denial is as follows:

    1. The rejection of the truth of a proposition, doctrine, etc.
    2. A psychological process by which painful truths are not admitted into
        an individual’s consciousness.

Yep, that works for me…denial!  In my non-expert opinion I feel that Arianna Huffington is suffering from denial.  Or maybe it’s like Liz Cheney said, Arianna is living on another planet.  Nah, it’s the denial thing.

Liberty forever, freedom for all!

That Arianna sure is the model for unbiased truth seeking journalism. Funny how you never see Matt drudge or Andrew Brietbart on a panel to counter her.

They don't want Matt Drudge ir Andrew Brietbart because of their views.

Wow, it still continues. I know Bush wasn't perfect, but this is getting a little old, hearing him given the blame for everything that has gone or will go wrong. I wonder how he manages to keep his mouth shut through all of this?

Thanks for the comments Larry. Yes they still continue to attack Bush, but I believe it has more to do with being in denial than actually believing Bush is responsible for the oil spill. They're just trying to deflect responsibility.
