A message to our readers

First off I want to thank all of our readers for taking the time out of your busy days to visit our small site.  I know many of you have packed schedules and run your own blogs, so I realize how difficult it can be to take time out of your day to stop by.  And yet that’s exactly what many of you do and we wanted to let you know how much we appreciate it.  As many of you know in the very near future THE CURRENT is going to go through a fundamental transformation.  We are currently working to transition from the Blogger platform to a WordPress platform and I’m trying to stumble through it.  Between work, family commitments, THE CURRENT, and trying to set up our new site, I’ve been extremely pressed for time.  Lately I’ve felt like I’ve been burning the candle from both ends and because of this the quality of my posts have suffered and that’s not fair to you.  My overall goal is to provide you with the best quality post that is original and thought provoking.

Right Hand Man and I have a timeline we’re trying to keep in regards to our transition.  This timeline has been somewhat compromised due to my work schedule and trying to keep up with this blog.  So I’ve decided that I’m going to take a break from posting.  I figure if the President can golf and go on vacation ten times a year while Rome is burning, I can take some time to get our new site set up.  Understand this was not an easy decision for me.  I love being on the frontline with you folks; however sometimes it becomes necessary to regroup and that’s where I’m at right now.  I need time to regroup and get our new site set up.  Right Hand Man will continue to post as his schedule permits.  I will continue to try to make my rounds and post my “Teeing it Up” each Sunday.  My hope is that with a focused effort on our new site I can have everything completed within a few weeks.

Once again I thank you all for your support and patience.

John
