Case of the Mundays – Hag Pesach!

– Who is John Galt? Someone too soon forgotten.

– Obama called for his tax hikes by saying he will have “more spending reductions in the tax code”. Remember when this guy told us he was post-political?

– A Chevy Volt burned down a person’s home via electric fire last week. No SUV’s were involved in the incident.

– It appears that Joe Biden fell asleep during Obama’s big speech. Unfortunately, he was paying more attention than the public.

– This just in, Planned Parenthood does more than just give abortions… They also encourage prostitution.

– Turns out that President Obama didn’t voluntarily give more to the IRS than the minimum and Joe Biden used clothing donations as a write-off. Shouldn’t they just lead and pay the higher taxes before the legislation is passed…I mean, if it’s so good.

– I heard “paying for tax breaks” used 3 times on CNN today. Here’s a clue, it’s not the government’s money.

– What step in Obama’s “Plan to Ruin America” is “Downgrade American Credit Rating”?

– Obama may start living up to some of his promises. Step one, “Under my plan, energy costs would necessarily skyrocket”.

– Obama “didn’t expect that Libya would be necessarily over after 3 weeks”. I’m trying to decipher what he meant by “matter of days, not weeks” three weeks ago. Translator anyone?

– The UN is going to give “Mother Earth” the same rights as humans in the nature of Bolivia’s law that hands them out to trees, bugs, animals and soil. An aborted fetus couldn’t be reached for comment.

– The more people who become dependent upon the government brings us that much closer to the point in which we can’t afford to provide – and unfortunately, the more who find themselves utterly helpless and alone when the whole thing collapses.

– Tonight for my family starts Passover (Pesach). I find it intriguing that this night we celebrate G-d’s deliverance from our Egyptian slavery. At the same time, Easter is around the corner for the Christians. This is a time that celebrates G-d’s salvation from a greater slave master than Pharaoh, sin. It is clear to me that G-d’s will is that man not live in slavery, but in freedom. I cannot help but be saddened at the number of people who ignore this truth and run willing to their slave master’s shackles in order to eat his bread… created from their toils.

Good one sir. The irony in your section about Passover and Easter is tragic. We are headed in reverse, not forward.

Good post! It is sad to see the number of people who follow and promote evil and the number of people who are deceived into following evil so easily. Have a good passover.

It’s funny you posted the video of the pencil example. While I was on vacation I did that post on beach glass that builds on the pencil example. I like beach glass because the issue of markets working over time and space is easier to see. The collection is in part sentimental to remind me of vacations, but also an object lesson in market economies. My son will understand the message by the time he’s 6 or 7.
