Case of the Mundays 6-6-11

Time to recap all that makes my head spin and my eyes roll. It’s time for this week’s Case of the Mundays.

The House slapped Obama and his fear mongering in the face in regards to raising the debt ceiling.  Strangely, there has been no zombie outbreak…yet.

Obama’s “days, not weeks” promise for our timeline involvement in Libya has now been extended to “perhaps until Christmas”.  It sounds eerily similar to JFK’s tip-toe into Vietnam.

Wisconsin GOP looks to be running fake democrats in the primaries of the recall elections in the state.  Democrats are outraged at such shenanigans!  They hate it when you fight fire with fire.

Apparently surfing the internet causes global warming…  No really.  The Huffington Post says that all of these disasters are all due to global warming.  Then Pelosi came out and said that our low job numbers are due to the disasters.   So, quit reading this you jerk!

Anthony Weiner’s fate is, ironically, going to come down to how he handled his namesake.  The democrats’ mantra?  “Not a big deal”, “Nothing to see here”.

Blame your high gas prices on the sand dune lizard!

The next time I run a red light I’m going to try and blame it on Sarah Palin.

The Administration has come out and said that we’re going to lose $14 billion on the auto bailouts…but it was all worth it for the big economic boost.

Ecologists’ newest theory to stop global warming?  Drag down huge chunks of glacier into warmer waters.  Of course a couple of months later they will use the loss of glaciers as evidence toward further warming.

San Francisco’s “Foreskin Man” propaganda comic book has the propaganda ministers of Nazi Germany and the PLO questioning their own creativity.

Lesson for liberals: Moody’s is not going to drop our credit rating due to our debt ceiling being too low, but because our debt floor is too high.

Now for your Munday Moment

Almost too simple…it’s amazing that our congressional members and the administration are selling the opposite. Audacity indeed.

Come to think of it, I’m surprised that Weiner didn’t blame Palin for tweeting his weiner.
