Teeing it up: A Round at the LINKs (Saturday Edition)
I’m going to keep today’s commentary short and sweet. The big news from last week was the Republican reversal on the payroll tax holiday. They felt like they were losing the battle of public opinion and caved in to the pressure. In my opinion it’s time for John Boehner to step down as Speaker of the House. He has clearly lost the trust of many rank and file Republicans who feel betrayed by this move. It’s time to nominate a new Speaker who will stand on principle.
The wife and I are heading to Rapid City for Christmas. I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. May your day be a blessed one. God bless.
