Teeing it up: A Round at the LINKs (NASCAR Edition)

Well another busy week down and another week closer to making Obama a one term President.  The one thing that was finally revealed this past week is that the progressives do not have a plan for the future in regards to spending and the debt.  The exchange between Paul Ryan and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner this past week was quite informative in terms of how the progressives plan to reduce the national debt…they don’t.  Iran continued to ratchet up their nuclear program as saber rattling continues in the troubled Persian Gulf region.  Is it me or does it seem like the attack ads the Republican candidates are using to attack each other are getting very personal?  This needs to stop.  I’m all for robust debate on the issues, however these attack ads are becoming counterproductive and must stop.  We have serious issues that must be debated and instead we end up with mud slinging at each other.  It’s insulting.  And finally the 2012 NASCAR season started yesterday with the Budweiser Shootout at Daytona with Kyle Busch edging out Tony Stewart for the win in this non-points event.  It was the closet finish ever for the Shootout.  I’m looking forward to next weekend’s Daytona 500!
