Teeing it up: A Round at the LINKs (Placing blame and taking credit edition)

Last week President Obama blamed everyone and everything for high gas prices.  He traveled to Oklahoma with his side show and smoke and mirrors and proudly proclaimed that he would direct his administration to cut through the red tape to fast track a pipeline that was already approved and on the fast track to be built.  So he blames everyone and everything around him except his own administration’s bad policies for the high gas prices and then turns around and tries to take credit for something he had nothing to do with.  I’ve worked with people like this in the past.  Whenever things go south or something happens that makes them look bad, they deflect the blame and point the finger at someone else.  These are people who care more about how they’re viewed by others than doing the right thing.  They’re always there to take credit during the good times and hiding under their desk when times are bad.  These are worst sort of people and our President acts just like them.  He can’t even find the courage to defend his own policies that were designed to artificially drive up the price of gas to support his green initiatives.  All we get is “It’s not my fault.”  It’s the Republicans, or China, or the big bad oil companies.  It’s the fault of everyone else but me.  It makes me sick to my stomach.  I have no use for people like this because in the end they’re cowards.
