Teeing it up: A Round at the LINKs (Saturday Edition)

It’s Easter weekend so I decided to run our weekly Round at the LINKs today.  It’s been a very busy week in the news as usual.  What can I say with this President the hits just keep coming.  The week started with the President once again overstepping his constitutional authority by trying to intimidate the SCOTUS; using words like unprecedented and judicial activism if the SCOTUS finds that Obamacare is unconstitutional.  By Tuesday he found himself in hot water when the 5th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals demanded that he explain what he meant by his statements. So Eric Holder had to step it back for the President and on Thursday informed the 5th that YES the courts DO have the authority to strike down laws that violate the constitution.  I think I learned this in 5th grade.   It only got better when he made another speech that claimed Paul Ryan’s modest budget proposal to get our out of control spending kind of under control was basically going to kill, hurt or maim every single American.  He even said that the Republican plan was an exercise in “Social Darwinism” because it promoted free market principles and individualism in America and that stuff and junk has never worked.  Not only was it a bit over the top but it was a completely moronic statement.  The cherry on the sundae came yesterday when a Gallup poll revealed Obama was actually at a 50 percent approval rating.  What does this guy have to do or say to wake the American people up.
