Teeing it up: A Round at the LINKs (Time out edition)
My work is taking me out of the area for a week so I’m going to take a time out from writing. Truth be told I think I need a time out to collect my thoughts. Each day our constitution is under constant assault from both the left and the right. I’m beginning to understand why many on the right see the left as tyrants and many on the left see the right as tyrants, Both political parties ignore the constitution when they see an opportunity to advance their agenda. The State Department made the claim earlier in the week that the “War on Terrorism” is over. Well if this is the case then all the legislation and acts that were enacted to combat terrorism can now be repealed and the liberties traded for this security restored to the people. I think that’s a reasonable request. Will it ever happen? NO. You see once liberties are lost they are lost forever. That’s the painful truth of it and is also why we must be selfish with what few liberties we have left. I have been doing a great deal of thinking on this; trying to sort out my thoughts. So a time out is a good thing for now. I will be out of town for a week on business. I will post if I can, but for the most part I will be doing more reading than writing. On to the links.
Below are links to some outstanding conservative articles. Please take the time to check them out and hit their tip jars if they have them. These conservative bloggers work hard to bring you the stories that are ignored by the MSM. So tee it up and enjoy another SENTRY JOURNAL round at the LINKs.
