Last week Paul Ryan offered President Obama the flexibility to manage the sequester cuts and the President threatened to veto any such legislation. Charles Brown an official at the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service agency asked if he could spread the sequester cuts in his region to minimize the impact and was told in an internal email not to do anything that would lesson the dire impacts the Congress had been warned of.
We have gone on record with a notification to Congress and whoever else that ‘APHIS would eliminate assistance to producers in 24 states in managing wildlife damage to the aquaculture industry, unless they provide funding to cover the costs.’ So it is our opinion that however you manage that reduction, you need to make sure you are not contradicting what we said the impact would be.
So the President wants to make these cuts as painful as possible. With all the government waste that can trimmed our President has decided that the best way to achieve his goals is to inflict as much pain as possible on the American people. The question is why? Bill O’Reilly and Brit Hume in the below video try to make sense of this.
The President is clearly not doing what is best for America. Instead he’s doing what he believes is best for the Democrats. His hope is this will create so much pain that the Republicans will feel the backlash and it will cost them the House in 2014. That’s the end goal of this President. He wants a blank check again to advance his agenda and will do whatever it takes to achieve this goal even if it means inflicting pain on the American people. I wish people would wake up and realize this guy is not only bad for them but he’s bad for America?
