CIA Wanted Tamerlan Tsarnaev on Terrorist Watch List: Media Silent

As the true nature of the Boston Marathon Bombing comes to light, the more incompetence is discovered. We know that the Russians warned us as to the radicalization of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, but no action was taken. Now we see that the CIA continued to want Tsarnaev on the watch list…

The lying is profound, and mirrors the constantly changing narrative on the Saudi national who was first grilled in the Boston bombing. Now this:

CIA Wanted Boston Bombing Suspect Placed on Terror Watchlist Breitbart

The CIA directly asked the FBI to place Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the elder of the two suspected Boston Marathon bombers, on its counterterrorism watchlist handled by the National Counterterrorism Center. That request came after the Russian government asked the CIA to keep an eye on Tsarnaev. It also came a year after the FBI closed its initial inquiry into Tsarnaev based on Russian warnings.

The watchlist, known as the Terrorist Identities Datamart Environment (TIDE), is actually a master watchlist that supplies information for a series of smaller watchlists, including the FBI’s central Terrorist Screening Database, and the infamous Transportation Security Administration no-fly list.

Despite the fact that Tsarnaev was added to the list, Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano testified yesterday that Tsarnaev was not monitored when he returned from Russia in 2012. The FBI now says that the Russians were fine with the level of scrutiny placed on Tsarnaev by the US government. “They were satisfied,” an unnamed official told the Washington Post. “We had checked on their information.”

Step by step, it seems that incompetence kept the authorities from preventing this terrorist attack. Of course, the MSM will continue cover for the Obama adminisration. You won’t be seeing this story on any of the alphabet networks.

I believe that future generations should have the same opportunities that myself, and those that came before me, had. My parents taught me that I could do anything I wanted to do. I don’t want to have to tell my daughter, “You can do whatever the government tells you to do.” We are at a crossroads in this country; are we going to be free, or are we going to be slaves to the nanny state. I choose freedom. I can be found at the Conservative Hideout, or at the Conservative Hideout RapidFire
