Kirsten Powers on Benghazi Hearing: “The behavior of the Democrats was astonishing…”

What really happened in Benghazi on September 11, 2012?  Was there a cover-up?  What did Hillary Clinton and the President know?  Today three high ranking State Department Officials who had first-hand knowledge of the events that unfolded in Benghazi on September 11th testified before congress on what they knew about the attack.  I found them to be extremely credible and I believe them.  But it doesn’t matter if I believe them or if all the conservatives in America believe them.  If Democrats don’t believe them then no matter what the truth is we will not be able to hold those accountable for failing to act and for misleading the American people.  It will take a few prominent Democrats to stand up for what is right to add credibility to this investigation.  It’s the only way this investigation advances with purpose.  Kirsten Powers is a prominent Democrat who did speak out against the behavior the Democrats displayed during the hearing today.  It appeared their objective was to protect Hillary Clinton and not to seek the truth.  Below is a clip of Ms. Powers calling out fellow Democrats.

I applaud Ms. Powers for standing up for what is right.  I know many Democrats love Hillary Clinton.  She can do no wrong.  They see her as their best hope to maintain Democratic control of the White House in 2016.  But there comes a point when we must put America before party and truth before ideology.  There comes a time when we must set partisan politics aside and do what’s in the best interest for America.  And what’s in the best interest for America in this case is finding out the truth about Benghazi no matter how deep the rabbit hole runs.

Liberty forever, freedom for all!
