Teeing it up: A Round at the LINKs

Well the Fourth of July weekend is upon us and many of us will be having picnics, spending time with friends and family, and setting off fireworks.  It’s the day we celebrate when we made our declaration to the British Crown that we desired to be independent from their rule.  It was the day in 1776 when 56 men committed high treason against the crown and dissolved the bonds that existed between the colonies and England.  They pledged to each other their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to see it through no matter what the cost; liberty and freedom were worth it.  This is why it pains me so much to see the people of this great nation trade their liberties away so easily for a little security.  … Read entire article »

Teeing it Up: A Round at the LINKs

Well folks “Teeing it Up” is back for another round at the LINKs.  This is the first official link post for the SENTRY JOURNAL.  I hope everyone  had a safe and Merry Christmas.  The golf course theme I chose to run with this week is the clubhouse.  The clubhouse is the nerve center of a golf course and for some of the more elite courses their design and construction can be very elaborate.  I had some time this week to make my rounds and below are a some of my favorite posts from the past week.  So tee it up and enjoy some pics of clubhouses that are the heat. Teeing it Up: A Round at the LINKS

This week we celebrated Thanksgiving.  For many it was a short week filled with family activites and shopping on “black Friday.”  For those working in retail, well this was probably a very busy week.  The good news is that Congress went home on their Thanksgiving recess.  The bad news is they’ll be back.  So here’s to another week of keeping our eye on the ball and staying on top of our game. Once again there were some outstanding posts this past week.  Below were a few of my favorites. So tee it up and enjoy some golf course water hazard scenery. Teeing it Up: A Round at the LINKS

It’s time again for another round at the LINKS.  With the lame duck congress getting ready to return to D.C. we must be even more on our game than ever before.  Personally my trust in the folks is registering ZERO and I fear that in the coming weeks they’re going to try to pass some overreaching, liberty crushing, freedom stealing, free market destroying bill that will drive another nail in the Republic.  This is why we must stay on top of our game.  Once again there have been a number of great posts this past week.  Below are just a few of my favorites. So tee it up and enjoy some golf course scenes from the desert. The Frontline: Conservative Bloggers in the Trenches

For eight months I have been part of the conservative blogosphere and I must say that it has been one heck of ride.  I have met some outstanding conservative bloggers that have been in the trenches on the frontline of a political ideological war that has been waging for the last few years.  These conservative bloggers are debating and analyzing the issues that neither political party nor the MSM want to touch. I found myself sometimes agreeing and disagreeing with the opinions of my fellow conservative bloggers and that’s ok because the cause is bigger.  And even though our personal views shape our overall opinion on an issue, I have found through my interactions with conservative bloggers that 99 percent of them believe in the cause and are willing to … Read entire article »
