Journalism’s Ugly Twin Brother
by RightHandMan John and I have written about the importance of local politics lately. We have pointed out that local politics empowers individuals much more than national politics does. It’s hard to keep up with local politics though. It requires getting a local newspaper, reading their website, catching the quick blip on the local news channel or getting involved in town meetings. It’s a little unfortunate that cable news has become the power house that it is. Don’t get me wrong, I like watching Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace and Meet the Press (when Tim Russert was alive) as much as the next guy, but like the rest of you, I get sucked into the national media as well. One major flaw in the cable news media is that there simply isn’t … Read entire article »

Rudy Giuliani and Joe Scarborough Humiliate Arianna Huffington | NewsBusters.org
Rudy Giuliani and Joe Scarborough Humiliate Arianna Huffington NewsBusters.org I’m not a fan of Arianna Huffington, in fact I really don’t agree with anything she stands for. Even though she once claimed to be a Republican, she is an elitist liberal that for the last 10 years has opposed conservatives on all fronts. She holds the same views as the far left about the Tea Party movement. And we all know what those views are. So whenever I find a clip of her with her foot in her mouth I feel obligated to post it. In this clip from the Morning Joe show, she tried to get away with a cheap shot on Rudy Giuliani and he pounced on her. In fact pretty much all the panel members piled on. Enjoy: Visit msnbc.com for … Read entire article »

Chris Matthews gets schooled by Dana Loesch
Far left commentator Chris Matthews locked up with conservative radio talk show host Dana Loech on Hardball over the motives of the Tea Party movement. Matthews came out swinging, using the same old tactics of the left; emotionally charged words like racist and birthers. Loech effectively neutralized his attack by pointing out the left’s sins of the past. Liberal Princeton Professor, Melissa Harris-Lacewell, was called in for back up and she didn’t do much better making the left’s case as Loech effectively countered her argument with those nasty facts. Take a look at the clip and judge for yourself. Matthews, like the far left, has become extremely predictable in the tactics he’s using to marginalize the conservative and Tea Party movement. We must recognize it, engage, and soundly defeat this tired old rhetoric. Encounters like this do serve a … Read entire article »

Bill Nye the "Climatologist Guy?"
Yes that’s right; the left’s new patriotic expert on climate change is the one and only Bill Nye the Science Guy! MSNBC’s hard left Rachel Maddow interviewed the one time Boeing Engineer, children’s television star, and comedian turned scientist on the claims made by those wacky global warming skeptics about heavy snowfall and the relationship it has with global warming. It was really quite a pitiful thing to watch. This so called expert with a 4 year mechanical engineering degree called the skeptics who questioned the heavy snowfall in Washington unpatriotic for questioning the science. Maddow guided this clown through her leftist maze of questioning. He hit all the hard left talking points and then ridiculed older people for having a hard time grasping the idea of mass population and how it … Read entire article »

Delusional Progressive Left VS the Really Delusional Socialist Left
In this corner from the progressive wing of the Democratic Party, the poster child of progressive spin, the one and only Chris Maaatthewssss! And in this corner from Socialist wing of the Democratic Party, the master of this liberal disaster…Howard Deeeeeean! And so it began. The two radicals faced off on Wednesday night on Hardball. So many of us in America missed this epic fight, but it is definitely worth a look. Howard Dean came out swinging by being in complete denial about what the outcome of the election in Massachusetts would mean for the President and his political party. Matthews asked Dean, “Would you have 51 (assuming they’ll use the nuclear option) after what happened yesterday,” and Dean replied, “yesterday the problem was that people wanted more.” Dean … Read entire article »
