Comment Policy

We at the SENTRY JOURNAL believe in free speech and the open and free exchange of information.  It is a right that is vital for a free society to function.  Like the Founders many of us have differing opinions and that’s a part of what a free society is about.  We’re not always going to agree on the solutions to problems, but  if we stop listening to each other then we’re heading down a dark path.   We may disagree on a number of issues, but I ask that we show respect to one another and not resort to personal attacks.  Personal attacks will not be tolerated.  Now on to the topic of trolls.  Unless you have something that adds value to the debate or conversation you will be banned.  Mindless long winded ramblings that  that are intended to clutter up the comment area or disrupt the conversation will be moderated as needed.  We at the SENTRY JOURNAL will not allow troll tactics to  intentionally disrupt the free exchange of ideas.  We will make every effort to make sure that the use of these tactics are minimized.

Additionally, I own this site.  I have paid for the hosting, so the team and I determine what happens here, just as other sites are able.
