Video: The Transformation of Society

I know, I said I was going to step back but I just can’t help myself.  Anyway I found this interesting video on You Tube.  Please take a few minutes to check it out. Source: The Corbett Report It’s shocking to see how quickly we have transformed as a society.  Principles that were commonplace only 50 years ago are now gone.  The narrator ask how do we snap people out of this state of affairs; or as I see it this apathetic mindset?  What needs to happen to wake the people up?  In my opinion waking people up will be a monumental task.  It will take a massive effort on the part of liberty loving citizens to deprogram a citizenry that has been conditioned to accept these blatant violations of our constitution … Read entire article »

June 6, 1944: Surviving D-Day Documentary

Today we remember those who gave so much of themselves to preserve liberty and freedom for the next generation.  Below is an excellent documentary called Surviving D-Day.  It’s about an hour and half long but it’s worth the watch. We are blessed that such men lived and fought so that we may be free. Liberty forever, freedom for all! … Read entire article »

Memorial Day Tribute

These heroes are dead. They died for liberty – they died for us. They are at rest. They sleep in the land they made free, under the flag they rendered stainless, under the solemn pines, the sad hemlocks, the tearful willows, and the embracing vines. They sleep beneath the shadows of the clouds, careless alike of sunshine or of storm, each in the windowless Place of Rest. Earth may run red with other wars – they are at peace. In the midst of battle, in the roar of conflict, they found the serenity of death. I have one sentiment for soldiers living and dead: cheers for the living; tears for the dead. — Robert G. Ingersoll I can’t even begin to tell you all how grateful and thankful I am for the … Read entire article »

Economist Pete Morici: “The President sets a terrible standard by his own conduct.”

Economist Pete Morici was on Fox and Friends yesterday morning and ripped President Obama and his administration for the “know nothing” narrative they’re trying to push in regards to the three major scandals enveloping them.  He stated that the President has set a terrible standard by his own conduct.  Check out the below clip. Leaders in any organization set the tone through example and their enforcement or non-enforcement of the standards.  When a leader’s example sets a terrible tone in an organization this is this tone their mid to lower level managers will feed off of.  They will have their template as a model for all their actions.  President Obama is the leader of the Democratic Party.  He has set the tone for the Party and that tone has been extremely … Read entire article »

NRA News: Special Report, “Sheriffs Lay Down The Law”

I ran across this Special Report “Sheriffs Lay Down The Law” by Ginny Simone from NRA News last night.  It’s only about five minutes long but it’s a very good piece.  So please take the time to check it out. Sheriffs across the nation are standing up for our constitution and our rights.  It’s time we do the same and back them up.  God bless them. Liberty forever, freedom for all! … Read entire article »

Benghazi: Officials are finally coming out of the shadows with explosive new information

The mainstream media has tried extremely hard to bury the story, but the tragic events surrounding the attack on our compound in Benghazi that led to the death of four Americans will not go away.  With little to no answers the administration that promised to leave no stone unturned in order get to the bottom of this is now taking a “nothing to see here…move along” attitude.  The proverbial “These are not the droids you’re looking for” line from Star Wars appears to be the tactic this administration is running with.  However, new information from inside sources appears to contradict the administration’s claims that there was no possible way to rescue our citizens who died in the attack.  Maybe there is something to see here.  Make no mistake folks, in … Read entire article »

Is the ammo shortage an illusion…this guy thinks so

Gun enthusiasts all over the country have been dealing with an ammunition shortage.  Just this past weekend I searched for 9mm rounds at all my favorite stops and to no surprise the cupboards were bare.  This “shortage” has forced me to conserve the ammunition I have on hand.  I’ve curtailed my range time and like many am frustrated that I can’t find my favorite caliber anywhere.  Now there are many explanations floating around as to why there is a shortage. Many believe that the high demand for ammunition after the Sandy Hook shootings caught the ammo manufacturers off guard and they simply could not produce enough to keep up with the demand.  That sounds reasonable enough.  Then there is the government purchasing large amounts of ammunition for the DHS, EPA, and … Read entire article »

Bill O’Reilly & Glenn Beck discuss the indoctrination of our children and “Common Core”

Glenn Beck sat down with Bill O’Reilly last night and discussed the indoctrination of our children this is taking place in our public schools.  Glenn Beck touched on a standard called “Common Core” and how it’s designed to dumb down our children.  Listen to the below exchange between Mr. Beck and Mr. O’Reilly. Mr. Beck discusses “Common Core” in more detail in the below clip.  It’s 28 minutes long but definitely worth the watch. Folks this is a very serious issue.  We cannot allow our children to be indoctrinated by the left or right and we cannot allow our children to be cheated from acquiring the critical thinking and problem solving skills needed to be successful in life.  If “Common Core” is as bad as Mr. Beck asserts, then it must be … Read entire article »

Dr. Ben Carson: Will anybody have the honesty to own up to that ObamaCare is a disaster?

Nancy Pelosi famously said “We have to pass the bill so you can find out what is in it.”  Well that 2,700 page bill she was referring to was passed three years ago and everyone is finally starting feel what’s in it and what’s in it is a complete disaster.  Let’s face it, ObamaCare is destroying our healthcare system in ways you can’t even begin to fathom.  Since 2011 Republicans have had multiple opportunities to de-fund ObamaCare and have done nothing,  Dr. Ben Carson sat down with Neil Cavuto and discussed how disastrous ObamaCare really is for Americans.  Below is a clip of this exchange. One of the main architects of ObamaCare says it’s going to be messy.  Really?  I guess this is why our elected officials should actually read the … Read entire article »

Let me say this one more time…John Boehner must go

How would most conservatives answer these two questions?  Do you trust President Obama?  Is there an immediate debt crisis?  I believe most conservatives would answer the first question with either a NO or the President hasn’t done anything to gain my trust.  Now on to the second question.  Most conservatives in the real world are smart enough to realize that if we’re at the point of printing money out of thin air (QE4ever) to make up the difference that revenues do not cover in terms of government spending then our debt crisis is indeed an immediate one.  Now listen to how Speaker of the House John Boehner answered both questions on ABC’s This Week. Speaker Boehner believes he has an open and honest relationship with the President and absolutely trust him.  … Read entire article »

Judge Napolitano rips the President over sequestration scare tactics

Another great one from Judge Napolitano!  In this clip he believes the President can be impeached if he fails to ensure that the laws are faithfully executed as they relate to the sequestration.  He feels the President would be in violation of Article II, section 3 of the constitution. He also rips the President for using scare tactics and says its nothing but political theater.  Check out the below clip. And there you go.  Again this sequestration deal is nothing but smoke and mirrors. Liberty forever, freedom for all.       … Read entire article »

It makes a huge difference Hillary…

Hillary Clinton finally testified today before congress and in a heated exchange with Senator Ron Johnson Hillary came unglued when Senator Johnson pressed her about Ambassador Rice going on talk shows immediately after the attack and intentionally misleading the people about the nature of the attack.  Below is the clip of this exchange. Yes four Americans died, but Hillary wants us to accept the notion that the circumstances surrounding their deaths doesn’t matter.  That it doesn’t make a difference whether it was protestors or a coordinated attack.  We just need to learn from this and make sure it never happens again.  Move along…nothing to see here.  I must say when I heard her say that it didn’t make a difference my blood boiled.  The first thing I said aloud was YES … Read entire article »

The President has no constitutional authority to restrict or ban certain types of weapons…period!

The President held a press conference today and the main topics were the debt ceiling and gun control.  At one point during the conference President Obama my the following statement: “My understanding is the vice president’s going to provide a range of steps that we can take to reduce gun violence,” said Obama. “Some of them will require legislation, some of them I can accomplish through executive action. And so I will be reviewing those today, and as I said, I will speak in more detail to what we’re going to go ahead and propose later in the week. But I’m confident that there are some steps that we can take that don’t require legislation and that are within my authority as president, and where you get a step that, has … Read entire article »

Obama: “It’s the right thing to do for the country…”

Most of you already know that in the early morning hours on this 1st day of 2013 the Senate voted to increases taxes on wealthy Americans while making the current tax rates on the middle class permanent.  For every $41 dollars in revenue generated in taxes there is $1 dollar in spending cuts.  Nothing and I mean nothing with the national debt was addressed.  Out of control spending was not addressed.  Florida Senator, Marco Rubio hammered this point home when he said, “Thousands of small businesses, not just the wealthy, will now be forced to decide how they’ll pay this new tax and, chances are, they’ll do it by firing employees, cutting back their hours and benefits, or postponing the new hire they were looking to make.  And to make matters … Read entire article »

President Obama and mob rule

In the latter days of the Roman Empire it was mob rule that guided Rome to its eventual demise.  Emperors remained in power for as long as the mob was entertained and distracted.  Emperors recognized the power of the mob and used it to increase their popularity and gain support for radical reforms and much like the Roman Emperors of old who used the mobs to advance their agenda today very little has changed. America stands on the edge of a fiscal cliff.  There is gridlock in Washington and both sides appear to be unwilling to compromise.  Where is President Obama?  Why isn’t he in Washington leading?   Because Obama recognizes the power of the mob and he’s still in campaign mode traveling around the country stirring the mob up.  Check out … Read entire article »

ZoNation: Liberals and Democrats Are Racist, Not Republicans!

Another good one from ZoNation. H/T Theo Spark It pains me to the core when strong conservative African American men and women are chastised and ridiculed by the left.  Isn’t this the same group of people who claim they represent the causes of the black community. And the left turns around and call us racist.  I see racism, however it’s not coming from the right.  How we let the left wrestle this issue away from us is beyond me.  Is the black community better off today for it?  The answer is no.  They have become dependent on an ideology that limits their opportunity and liberties.  It’s very sad. Jesse Watters with Obama supporters at Bill Maher’s Show

This is perfect.  Jesse Watters interviews Obama supporters outside of Bill Maher’s show.  Check it out. Yep, I think Jesse Watters has it right.  He thinks that Obama could destroy the economy and as long as those who support him have Obamacare, gay marriage, and abortion on demand they would support him.  My friends these are the people who are the greatest threat to our liberties.  They are an uninformed, misinformed, ignorant lot who know not what they do.  They are the mob.  A losing combination for liberty and America.  Buckle up because these same people will blame conservatism when it all comes crashing down.. Bill Whittle: A New Beginning

I spent most of the day going over the election results, trying to piece together in my mind where it went south.  Was it really Hurricane Sandy? Did Mitt Romney run a bad campaign?  Did we overestimate conservative enthusiasm?  Nothing was making sense.  i went into election day feeling confident and good about where we stood.  I thought Romney made the case against Obama’s record.  I thought there is no way the American people are going to reelect a President who presides over a terrible economy and hasn’t presented his own agenda for the next four years, but that’s exactly what Americans did.  It simply stunned me.  So I spent most of the day listening to the pundits playing Monday morning quarterback telling their listeners where they thought Romney went … Read entire article »

No excuses, no apologies, no retreat…vote for love of country!

This it!  The hour is upon us.  You will have a choice to make tomorrow.  Will we stand by an allow freedom and liberty to slip through our fingers or will we take the first step to reestablish the institutions that made America great?  Will we be the generation that fails the next or will we be the generation that saves their future?  Tomorrow when you are voting think about the America you knew when you were a child.  Think about the America your parents and grandparents knew.  Think about the America that stormed the beaches of Normandy.  Think about the America that put the first man on moon.  Think about what America once was and what America can be again with the right leadership.  Then think about Obama’s America.  … Read entire article »

Hurricane Sandy: Don’t let the moment cloud your judgment…judge President Obama based on his record

When a terrible weather event like Hurricane Sandy happens it’s easy for many of us to get caught up in the moment because Americans are a very caring and giving people.  We hate to see our fellow citizens suffering and want to do everything and anything possible to help.  Politicians know this, and whenever the heartstrings of Americans are tugged they see an opportunity.  They see an opportunity for them to be seen in a different light.  An opportunity to come across as if they truly understand and care about our pains. It’s an opportunity to hide their record if they’re running from it in the moment of despair.  They are masters at finding the camera, grabbing the photo op, making reassuring generic statements, and in the end manipulating the … Read entire article »

What kind of America have we become?

Yesterday the following was reported by Fox News. Fox News has learned from sources who were on the ground in Benghazi that an urgent request from the CIA annex for military back-up during the attack on the U.S. consulate and subsequent attack several hours later on the annex itself was denied by the CIA chain of command — who also told the CIA operators twice to “stand down” rather than help the ambassador’s team when shots were heard at approximately 9:40 p.m. in Benghazi on Sept. 11.  Former Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods was part of a small team who was at the CIA annex about a mile from the U.S. consulate where Ambassador Chris Stevens and his team came under attack. When he and others heard the shots fired, they informed their … Read entire article »

The 2nd Presidential Debate in its entirety

Below is the 2nd Presidential debate in it’s entirety.  Enjoy. My only input for now is that Republicans need to do a better job in getting involved in the vetting process of these moderators for future debates.  It was apparent by Candy Crowley’s comments back in August about a Romney/Ryan ticket being a “ticket death wish” she was in Team Obama’s corner.  That should have been a disqualifying factor for allowing her to moderate this debate.  She validated her support for Obama by allowing the President to gain a time advantage of almost four more minutes during the debate and by bailing him out when Romney questioned the President’s Rose Garden comments the day after the attack.  She shut Romney down by telling him that the President indeed called the Benghazi … Read entire article »

Chris Matthews: Just because you’re loud doesn’t mean you’re right

This past weekend my favorite leftist pinhead sat down with RNC Chairman Reince Priebus and proceeded to carpet bomb Chairman Priebus with most if not all the Democratic talking points. He was obnoxious and rude and displayed a level of disrespect towards the head of one of our major political parties in America that I have not seen in a long time. Mr. Matthews went into this debate with no intention to listen to the other side. Instead he went into the discussion with the intent on belittling Mr. Priebus and painting him and his party as nothing more than knuckle dragging racists. Check out the below clip of the exchange. Just because you’re the loudest guy in the room doesn’t mean you’re right.  The truth is the food stamp program  … Read entire article »

Ignorance is bliss…especially when it comes to being an Obama supporter

Over and over I have written about the ignorance of the average voter in America and how the left uses this ignorance to advance their agenda.  I’m feeling pretty good about the 2012 elections but I wanted to take this opportunity to remind people why we should have cause for concern.  Back in 2008 Obama supporters were interviewed after they voted in the below clip and it was actually quite revealing.  Check it out. So let me see if I’ve got this right.  Obama supporters back in 2008 did not know who Harry Reid, Barney Frank, or Nancy Pelosi was.  They did not know who controlled the congress at the time.  They thought Sarah Palin said that she could see Russia from her house.   And based on the interviews they got … Read entire article »

Megyn Kelly Panel: Obamacare is indeed a tax

I thought this was actually a pretty good debate on Megyn Kelly’s show about whether Obamacare is actually a tax.  If you missed this exchange yesterday take a few moments to watch it.  It’s about five minutes long. Those pesky facts always seem to trip up the left.  I especially liked when she played the the audio clip of Solicitor General Donald Verrilli explaining to the Supreme Court as to the reason why they didn’t call it a tax.  When questioned why congress did just call it a tax, Mr. Verrilli responded, “They may have thought your honor that calling it a penalty as they did would make it more effective in accomplishing its objective…”  Well we finally had a moment of clarity and truth from the left.  The reason they … Read entire article »

Memorial Day 2012: NEVER FORGET

Senator Patrick Leahy plants the seeds of judicial activism if ObamaCare is ruled unconstitutional

A few days ago the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Senator Patrick Leahy (D VT) picked up on the Senate floor where the President left off two months ago in regards to trying to intimidate the SCOTUS.  The truth is this vote has already been cast and I believe at a minimum the individual mandate in ObamaCare is going to be ruled unconstitutional.  I also believe there is a very good chance the entire law could be thrown out.  Let’s face it the defense of the individual mandate did not go well for the Obama administration.  In fact I’m not even sure all the left leaning judges were buying the argument. This same opinion that I have about the fate of ObamaCare must also be running through the halls of … Read entire article »

Will drones be used to spy on American citizens?

Statists have been floating the idea about flying unmanned drones over U.S. cities in the name of safety and security for quite some time now.  My guess is like most unconstitutional ideas, they throw the idea out there and look to see how the citizens respond.  It’s beginning to gain momentum because most Americans have their heads buried in the sand in regards to this privacy issue.  Well folks it’s time for Americans to pull their heads out and contact their elected representative on both the national and local level. Drones have been successfully used by our military on the battlefield to hunt down and kill the enemies of America; however they have no place in the skies over America illegally spying on our citizens.  First off the constitution of the … Read entire article »

Anthony K. “Van” Jones: Why we need to take this man seriously

It was late November 2010 when I first heard of the top-down, bottom-up, inside-out strategy on the Glenn Beck show. At first I really wasn’t sure what to think of it.  The Tea Party movement weeks earlier had just demonstrated the political powerhouse it had become by helping retake the House in an historic election.  Every attempt the left made to counter the grassroots movement failed miserably.  It appeared all the signs were pointing in the right direction to take back our country from the radical left and here was Glenn Beck saying not so fast.  Below is the clip from the episode to refresh your memory. President Obama calls it Social Darwinism; I call it liberty…

This past week when President Obama stated that Paul Ryan’s budget proposal was “thinly veiled social Darwinism.”  In an attempt to understand exactly the context in which he was using the term Social Darwinism, I watched his speech again.  After all Social Darwinism has such a negative connotation that surrounds it I wanted to make sure I got it right.  So based on my observation he is stating that Paul Ryan’s plan promotes individualism and free market principles that rewards the successful for their efforts and actions.  This in-turn creates a larger inequality gap in America because where there are winners there are also losers.  I think I got that right.  Well this would explain why he has such disdain for it.  He doesn’t believe that individualism and the free … Read entire article »
